VANDERWEGE ACADEMIE D'ARMES is a sport fencing club in San Marcos. It is operated by Fencing Master Gary M. van der Wege, a member of Team USA in Athens 2004 and London 2012 and six-time US National Champion. There are evening classes in both Foil and Epee, as well as a Homeschool class on Tuesday afternoons. Ages are for 9 years and older. Equipment is provided. Classes are offered at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall; located directly behind the Little HEB downtown.

The Edelweiss Kinderchor is a singing group of children aged 5-16 who sing in German! No prior knowledge of German is necessary.
